Rich with story and purpose, the owner and CEO of Plum Brilliance, Apryl, invites us into her beautiful world through her lovingly crafted products.
Apryl was born and raised in a rural portion of San Diego County. At a young age, she developed a love for the native plants in the diverse bioregion of Southern California.
Apryl's desire to capture the emotion and memories of her childhood spent running through aromatic plants of the southwest, along with the healing impact that ritual self-care can have on our souls, prompted the creation of Plum Brilliance Apothecary.
"Drawing from my training as an herbalist, my absolute love for San Diego, and my desire to encourage folks to embrace their own self-care rituals, I craft skincare and herbal products from the wild plants of this region."
Apryl's workdays involve wandering the mountains, deserts, and beaches, ethically and respectfully harvesting wild plants for truly potent, effective products.
The same sense of calm and care is felt in her words, as well as her products.
"It is a privilege and pleasure to connect people with the natural uniqueness of this area through self-care. I hope to inspire a similar appreciation for the uniqueness of each of us as individuals."
